This blog is dedicated to you. Spawned from being the witness of a cycle of pain, this blog exists to make people aware of the relationships they dive into daily, and to preserve their hearts, to leave the ones bent on chaos, and to render some peace and guidance to those who seek better relationships with themselves and others... From friends, up.

Letter To Self
Written: January 18, 2021
I consider myself to be my own state, to be my own country. I have a code, a language, a culture that I care to preserve. I have an effect on the world around me, and I intend to ensure that its nature gets cultivated, so that nature around me can produce more of itself.
My code begins with the truth that I am my own hero.
To be a hero is a self-appointed celebration of my own virtues. Every opportunity I get to embody my faith, my compassion, in progression, in attention, in support, in patience, in direction, in creativity, in peace, in resilience, in courage, in self-assurance, in the face of challenge, in the face of jealousy, in the face of violence, in the face of indecency, in the face of projection, in the face of inadequacy, in the face of incompetence, in the face of unprofessionalism, in the face of dishonesty, in the face of mockery, in the face of imitation, is in itself an exercise of my virtues. I was without a doubt, born to live and so to doubt myself in a single aspect or to allow anyone outside of myself to hold virtues that belong to my world, experience, or state of mind is to do myself an injustice according to the history of my life. My life has a single trajectory that no one else but I can follow.
I am the only one who knows where I came from and so I am the only one who knows where I am going. Anything & everything I see or think along the way corresponds to my virtues, knowledge, and awareness of my current internal environment. Anyone unaware of their own internal environment is an enemy of themselves and therefore an enemy to me. Anyone who does not trust themselves is someone I cannot trust.
My language is directly focused on intentional support and provisional accommodation, which means that help must be requested if needed, and the request for help must be met with language that investigates the range of the assistance needed. It is good to ensure that someone is more than prepared for the unforeseen.
My culture is an expected extension of mercy and peace, but not to anyone who perceives mercy and peace as a threat, or a tool with which one can entertain themselves. Ones own desire to retain their peace and not disturb yours is an embodied reflection of their virtue.
An embodied reflection of ones own virtue is the heart of creativity, production, reflection, and ingenuity that can transform into an invention that promotes the health and well being of the community, which also provides opportunities for someone else to improve on and develop (if there are any improvements to be made). This makes space for consistent production and a community willing to share one another's work in order to learn, adapt, create, and inspire one another. Through mercy, peace, cooperation, and inspiration we will create a brand new and connected world capable of learning from one another in an effort to learn ourselves much more deeply and to create art and invention that embodies that.
The word "enemy" identifies anyone who projects & externalizes the weaker elements of themselves onto other people in an effort to promote peace within themselves.

Dear Brokenness,
Thank you.
for sharing all of your pieces with me,
for appearing shattered and disjointed,
for scattering me to the wind,
Thank you,
for severing the bonds I thought I had with myself,
for the distance between me and my idea of whole,
for shifting me into unrecognizable figures,
Thank you,
for the space of emptiness left in your presence,
for the gap in my missing light,
for the void in my heart,
Thank you,
for the tears I've cried in the stillness of the night,
for the questions that returned no answer,
for the dizziness at the height of my desperation,
Thank you,
for the anxiety I feel at the threat of becoming undone,
for the grief I have when we lock eyes,
for the silence at my rage,
Thank you,
for reminding me of our incompatibility,
for reminding me of your lack of compassion,
for reminding me that there is no escape,
Thank you,
for being unable to fit,
for introducing me to division,
for suffocating the space I needed,
Thank you for refusing to be a home for me, because you know that there will never be a home for you.

Healing From A Past Lover
Very few people find themselves confident in the face of a question like, "what is love?". They will stagger around for an answer through the evidence of those who made them feel like it was important enough to question it. To them, love is the same as the impact other people have introduced them to and not something they think about alone.
However the entryway, once you have arrived at the door to this question, you must walk through it and explore the space for what it is; a world in which you happily place your favor. Never mind the tragedy that causes you to wring your hands at the sky for causing you to dread your existence, valid those feelings may be, but it is better to go to sleep and try again. To commit your heart to denial is to crucify your mind to the cross of death, even as the seasons pass you by.
Love is gratitude in action, the kind of gratitude that knows the difference between what you are thankful for, and who you are as a human being existing in your own space. Those who enter into your space with nothing but an open heart willing to give have decided that you are the one in which they wish to place their favor: you need only to accept the grace.
When it comes to love that people feel they need to heal from, they seek to heal themselves as the provider of favor; where their recipient was unthankful and brash, foolishly bruising the altar on which that person was placed.
They blame themselves for having chosen a receiver who was clearly ill prepared and callous, thinking it was wrong to have placed them on an altar, not realizing that even these feelings belong to those who have a nature to provide. The desire to show your appreciation to that which you love will never be a sin, even as you perceive it to call you to harm, which still is the nature of a provider.
Provision by itself is not a feminine or masculine trait, it is the responsible trait of those who understand that in order to prepare for the journey ahead, you must obtain that which is able to sustain you over the long haul; this is the sensible logic that you are trying to condemn.
When healing from a past lover, understand that you did not bruise yourself by loving them, even though this is the drone of the mindless who speak before they think. It is your passion to pass on that which sustains; you are a life giver who seeks to give to those who will receive, and you are merely searching for those who approach you with open hands.
And the one who did not love you asked you to force their hand open.

Talk To The Void
The void has just as much of a heart as any human. We might imagine that just because we do not know the void, the void does not know us.
But we visit the void every dreamless night.
Do we ever give thought to the ideas and seeds we toss into the shadows, in the places that we know people rarely visit? Or do we pretend that the darkness only means an absence of light?
We tread the void knowing we feel the solid ground, the rich earth of vast potential, and it is there that we think of all the things we cannot escape. The sun must balk at us knowing that even with its revealing light we find ourselves suffocated all the same. Perhaps we think courage is the poison of our imagination, the ingredient that could finally make our visions come to life.
And we need only water it with a word... but we hold our tongue. Afraid that the seed might grow we hold our tongue, and the void grows lonely still.
The void needs to be fed. The void needs to be watered. The void is much like the desert, but regardless of how dry the moisture in the air is, the desert can transform into a wetland marsh with a careful word and a deliberate answer. The void always has questions that need an answer, and in between every silence it leans on you to hear your heartbeat. Do you know that the void is always listening?
Every word you speak removes the veil upon the world that you see, and another slab of the map loses its mystery. The void prepares itself ahead of you, timing your every step with curiosity of the next, even though it has seen you move many times before. There is no shortage of excitement with the void. The void's childlike exuberance ensures that it will never get bored.
That is perhaps the most endearing of all with the void, that in its eyes it sees you, only you and no one else in its permanent expanse. It's the romance we have always dreamed of.

Pray That You're Not Special
Pray that you're not special.
Pray that you are not the person the world needs.
The life of one who is special will seem like a glamourous road. It will seem like a street laden with your favorite jewels. The world will promise you that because you are special you will receive all that you deserve.
And then you will have dirt kicked in your face. And you will watch their face squirm desperately, longingly away from the very things they asked for, that you preciously carried for them.
The world will remind you that it did not promise that you deserved "good" things.
